Who Did You Help Today is powered by everyday New Zealanders answering one question by lending their time, energy, and skills to help children, families, and communities thrive.
Practical programmes, real impact
Homework Clubs lift learning and confidence, helping tamariki to flourish. Mothers Project supports wāhine in prison to parent with hope and dignity. Storybook Project keeps whānau connected through reading and storytelling. HelpTank connects skilled volunteers with charities that need them.
Why it matters
Too many children, families, and communities are struggling with challenges that can feel overwhelming. While none of us can fix everything overnight, each of us can do something today.
Nāu te rourou, nāku te rourou, ka ora ai te iwi - with your basket and mine, the people will thrive.
Everyone has something to give
Time, skills, care - every contribution matters. Volunteering isn’t charity, it’s whanaungatanga (relationships, belonging). And together, we’re stronger.
Join the movement
This is bigger than a single charity. It is a kaupapa (shared purpose) for us all: Who did you help today?
Be part of the answer - volunteer, donate, partner, or simply start helping where you are.
